Mom Is Devastated After Finding Her 25-Year-Old “Good” Son Shot To Death On Side Of Her House
“Devan was already an angel here on this earth,” said Sanders’ mother Sabrina Sanders, “He was a good young man,”.

Dozens honor a young man who lost his life way too soon. Devan Sanders was 25 when his mother found him shot to death on the side of their home. Saturday Sanders friends and family held a prayer vigil for him. As Devan Sanders was remembered, his mother had something she wanted to say to his killer.
His family wants nothing more then to find the person that’s responsible for Devan’s death.
The police haven’t made any arrests yet, but are keeping the family in touch on the entire investigation.
“Whoever did this to Devan, I forgive you but I ain’t going to forget um, you took my baby took all of our baby away from us for no reason,” said Sanders.
Dozens gathered to remember Devan Sanders at a prayer vigil in front of his home. His mother found him shot to death outside their Grand Avenue home. His sister made a 911 call.
“My mom found him this morning and she woke me up screaming and crying,” said the 911 caller.
Relatives said Devan worked two jobs, helped the homeless and was involved in the community. Devan’s grandmother Ina Green recalled his big heart.
“He was a wonderful grandson. He had the patience and the kindness that you just cannot believe,” said Green. Sanders’ relatives can’t believe someone would kill him.
“It is a hurt that you just can not believe but I know we’re going to get through this because God is with us,” said Green .
Others who’ve gone through the same heartache are with them were at the vigil.
“Me too also, my son was murdered. He was murdered. so I know how it feels to miss a child,” said an unknown woman at the vigil.
“It’s an everyday struggle and just know you’re not alone,” said another unknown woman at the vigil.
“We’re going to miss him but he will always be with us in our hearts,” said Green.
