Polygamy seems to be the popular thing these days.
Face2FaceAfrica Reports:
“When Yakaka Mandara tweeted a picture of a first wife feeding her husband’s second wife at a wedding reception, she did not expect that the photo would go outside of her country, Nigeria. But that’s exactly what it did, reigniting an age-old debate about polygamy in Africa.
Polygamy is a centuries-old practice in Africa that has yet to disappear from modern life. It has both cultural and religious origins. It is legal in 26 out of 54 African countries, particularly Muslim majority countries.
In the case of the picture Mandara posted, sources say the first wife threw a huge wedding for her husband as he married his second wife. People have commended her effort in helping to usher in a second wife while others have criticized it for being outdated.”
I don’t care what people do, as long as they do what makes them happy, and it isn’t hurting anyone. But personally I came to slay, be Queen and leave a legacy of impact and changing lives. Women in such relationships have never made history books or been someone that little girls look up to. However to each its’ own. We all have our own plans and goals. But chances are if they had their own money, and a purpose in life, they would want a man who only wanted them… Money and lack of money often changes things.
In addition many woman go through the stage of feeling like all men cheat, so maybe it’s better to have one who is upfront and honest. However I believe it’s difficult to establish a deep, soul enlightening relationship when one always has someone else to turn to, and you don’t.
