Kobe Bryant’s wife Vanessa inherited $200 Million From Under Armor

Vanessa Bryant has no doubly lived an extraordinary life that has unfolded in the media step by step.

One of Vanessa’s biggest high points was finding out that her husband Kobe Bryant cheated on her and was accused of rape.

The situation was devastatingly embarrassing to such a beautiful woman.

Weeks later Kobe gave Vanessa a rare 8-carat purple diamond ring that was reportedly valued at $4M. It was said that Bryant had bought his wife the ring as an apology.

That ring got Kobe back on Vanessa’s good side and made the public back off, cause 99.9% of women who got cheated on would not receive a $4 Million apology ring.

“I know that my husband has made a mistake — the mistake of adultery,” she said in a statement at the time. “He and I will have to deal with that within our marriage, and we will do so.”

Bryant also got a tattoo of his wife’s name to thank her for her support and once again apologized to his wife in the press. “I sit here in front of you guys furious at myself, disgusted at myself for making the mistake of adultery,” he said. “I love my wife with all my heart. She’s my backbone.”

Things got back on track in the relationship, and the Kobe went on to add more additions to their family. Kobe kept on the straight and narrow, and retired from the NBA as one of the greatest players to ever play the game.

Then came the shocking news in January of Kobe Bryant’s tragic death in a helicopter crash. A devastating blow for the world, but also to his wife and family.

At the time of his death, Bryant was BodyArmor’s fourth-largest shareholder. Only Repole, Coca-Cola and Keurig Dr. Pepper owned larger equity shares. Recently Bryant’s widow, Vanessa, and his children inherited control over his stake, for a sum of $200 Million.

Bryant invested $5 million to acquire a 10 percent stake in BodyArmor in 2013, when the upstart brand had generated negligible revenue and was in the early days of its pursuit of industry giant Gatorade. BodyArmor is on track to surpass $1 billion in retail revenue by the end of 2020 – a milestone that Repole said would not have been possible without Bryant’s contributions.
