60 People Shot In Chicago Father’s Day Weekend

It’s very important that those of us who are woke, speak the truth to the black culture.

Nine people were killed, four of them minors, and 51 others were wounded in shootings across Chicago Father’s Day weekend.

Blacks are protesting the police killing black men, meanwhile blacks are killing other blacks by the dozens.

A 13-year-old girl was killed and two other teens were wounded Saturday night on the West Side.

The girl was inside a home about 8:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of North LeClaire Avenue when the shots were fired, and she was struck in the neck, Chicago police said. She was taken to Stroger Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified her as Amaria J. Jones.

Again, this is going on in the middle of a black lives matter movement. How are black lives supposed to matter, when blacks don’t find the lives of other blacks, valid?

Can you imagine Martin Luther King Jr. marching back in the day, to fight for the rights of blacks, while black meanwhile killed each other?

A 13-year-old girl wasn’t in safe in her own home.

So when people pop up to say things like “White people kill each other too.” That doesn’t negate the fact that black people are behind in every category of life, except going to church, but still not knowing the true divinity of God.

Amaria wasn’t the only child shot Father’s Day weekend in Chicago.

Two boys, 15 and 16, were sitting on a porch when one of them noticed a red laser pointing at him and heard gunfire, police said. The younger boy was struck in the back and the older boy was struck in the leg. They were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.

A 3-year-old boy was fatally wounded about two hours earlier when someone opened fire at his father while they were driving.

The toddler, identified as Mekay James, was struck in the back about 6:25 p.m. when someone in a blue Honda pulled behind the black SUV the boy’s 27-year-old father was driving in the 600 block of North Central Avenue and fired several rounds, authorities said.

A police source said the father was believed to be the intended target of the shooting.

The father drove the boy to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park. He was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. The father was also treated for a graze wound to the abdomen.

Two teenage boys were killed just over an hour before that in South Chicago.

Jasean Francis, 17, and 16-year-old Charles Riley were in an alley about 5:10 p.m. in the 7900 block of South Luella Avenue when a male suspect approached them and fired shots, authorities said. Francis was shot in the back, chest and hand while the 16-year-old was shot in the back and side. Both were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead.

“The kids had just gone to the store to buy snacks. They know the neighborhood. They don’t ever go out to the neighborhood because it’s so dangerous,” Chicago Police Chief of Detectives Brendan Deenihan said Sunday.

But on that one occasion, the boys asked just that once if they could go down to the store and buy some candy, and when they were almost back at the gateway of their home, a gunman ran up and shot and killed them for no reason, Deenihan said.

Police say the suspected gunman was wearing a black Puma hooded sweatshirt and ripped faded jeans, and was wearing one shoe on the left foot and a black sock on his injured right foot.

A few news stories came out identifying the shooter as LaRoy Battle and said that he’d been arrested. But all of the posts have been deleted from the internet.

What’s up with that? Was it a gang, wrong person, did he get paid by the powers that be to kill innocent kids? I don’t know.
