WATCH Jada Pinkett Admit Her Relationship With August to Will Smith [video]

On Friday, Jada Pinkett Smith sat down at the Red Table with her husband Will Smith, to discuss her relationship with singer August Alsina.

The first thing I noticed from the interview is that Jada, like most SPIRITUAL women, found herself attracted to a broken man. She said she and August became good friends and that it was apparent that he “needed some help.”

This is important because in society these days women are talked down upon for being the emotional creatures they are and having a desire to heal men and bring them to a place of peace and wholeness.

During the discussion the couple revealed that the outside relationship that is now the entire internet’s business happened during a time the couple was broken up.

Here are the facts according to the Smiths:

  1. Will Smith did not give August Alsina PERMISSION to date Jada. The couple was AMICABLY separated and both were doing their thing with whoever. Neither interfered in the other’s sexual affairs.
  2. When I spoke earlier of spiritual women being attracted to broken men, what I didn’t mention is that spiritual women are attracted to broken men because it’s a reflection of their own inner trauma. Spiritual women want to heal broken men, as a distraction from working on their own inner healing. Jada admitted that at the time she dated August, she herself was hurt and broken.
  3. Jada got into a relationship with August because she wanted to FEEL good, had codependency issues and wanted to FIX someone. Which Jada admits was a reflection of her own childhood trauma. Most adults walk around with childhood wounding.
  4. Dating August taught Jada that she needed to stop trying to heal other people, and to instead go within and heal herself.
  5. When Jada suddenly started to realize she still had feelings for her husband and expressed that to August, he completely cut her off, and she hadn’t heard anything from him until recently.

The beauty from this segment is that The Smith’s admit that they came together as a young couple, were both broken in their own ways, and have started a deep healing process, that ultimately brought them closer together.

Will said that he was grateful to not have experienced being in a relationship where he couldn’t make mistakes for fear of losing his family.

The Smith’s say they were once at a place of not speaking to one another, but now their relationship has been formed in the fire and brought to a place of unconditional love.

“You have to go through something to get the answers.” ~ Jada Pinkett Smith

“There’s a real power in just knowing that someone is riding with you no matter what.” ~ Will Smith

As to the Smith’s final word: ” We ride together, we die together. Bad marriage for life.”

The couple then fist bumped to that, and Will reminded Jada that when he first married her he told her that he could love her through anything.

Watch the episode below:

This was actually pretty beautiful, and I guess the internet is now on to the next story. As to August, he should’ve known this couple would find their way back to one another. People often reject the bible, but if he would’ve simply avoided dating a married woman, he could’ve avoided getting his heart broken. Separated is still married. When people are ready to move on, they get divorced.

Most people will never have the unconditional relationship they seek because once they meet a person, they are too busy focused on seeing what the person does perfect, instead of seeing the person and realizing they can commit to getting better together each day. Relationships are about healing and growth. Most people look for a perfect person and marry the REPRESENTATIVE of a person, instead of marrying the person who showed up imperfect, but was willing to seek perfection, honesty, integrity and deep commitment along the way, while also showing a compact to deeply love another person.

If you are a single woman who is hurt, heartbroken, needing healing, or desiring to develop a healthy, conscious, loving relationship with a high value man, “You Can’t Force A Man To Value You – Becoming A High Value Woman & Attracting Your Dream Man,” is the greatest book on healing and love ever written.
