9-year-old black girl becomes the youngest victim of Corona in Florida.
Gainesville, Florida – On July 11, Kimora “Kimmie” Lynum was taken to the Children’s Hospital near her home. She wasn’t feeling well. Doctors there took her temperature and did a urine test. She had a 103-degree temperature, and was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection. She was sent home the same day.
Despite having such an inexplicably high fever, she was not tested for COVID. “I thought they would have jumped on that when they saw her fever,” said her mother Mikasha Young-Holmes.
On July 17 the 9-year-old girl took a nap, and never woke up.
“I was shaking her, yelling at her,” said Young-Holmes. “I yelled at my mom and told her to come in here because Kim is not breathing.”
Kimora’s grandmother said she started performing CPR.
“I was just trying to bring her back. I tried, I tried everything I could to bring her back,” said Young-Holmes.
The ambulance arrived to take Kimora and her family to the hospital.
“On the way, I was just hoping and praying that they could just get her back,” said Kimora’s mother.
Her highest hopes did not come into fruition. Even worse, Kimora was tested for coronavirus after she passed away, and the test results came back positive.
After tracing all her contacts, Mikasha could not find a single person who tested positive and had come in contact with her baby girl.
I completely understand that many spiritual people won’t wear a mask, due to their belief system. It is said in the spiritual realm that you can only get sick from FEAR. But I am sure this 9-year-old girl didn’t fear COVID.
Perhaps it’s best that everyone wears a mask. Maybe your immune system can handle it, but that doesn’t mean that other people’s can.
This is negligence on the side of the hospital. They should be paying for the funeral.
