Dre is being represented by high-powered celebrity divorce lawyer, Laura Wasser, who filed on his behalf. Young is being represented by celebrity attorney Samantha Spector in the divorce whose notable clients include Jenna Dewan and Amber Heard.
His paperwork also noted the date of separation as March 27, weeks after the coronavirus lockdown began.
I would think that even if he ripped up the pre-nup it means NOTHING, if he didn’t legally rip it up. Men be so full of antics sometimes, but these wealthy married men of Dre’s stature are far from dumb. We will see what the judge says.
As to this whole thing with signing pre-nups, I totally get it. Most of the women that wealthy men choose to marry were not there to help them build their wealth. They weren’t with them during the struggle. Nobody was with Dre. when he had to figure out his way from the hood. She wasn’t with him in the studio making beats.
But she was with him for 24-YEARS giving him nurture, support and stability. What is that worth to a man who is already successful? I would love to interview Dre and simply ask him what he believes his wife did for him in those 24-years and how much money does he think her support was worth.
Either way it’s always sad to see love end. I wish them the best.
