Adults don’t care, and the kids eat it up. It’s whatever in entertainment. Don’t know if we should expect female rappers to uplift women. Don’t know if people would even buy such uplifting music from a woman, then again Queen Latifah did it and Kanye West made Jesus Walks popular.

I think we must remember that Megan is a woman with goals and dreams. She wanted a life of money and fame. And the easiest way to get it is to spit lyrics about sex. Same thing Lil Kim & Trina did. Same thing City Girls did. I don’t even think I know a positive female rapper in this day and age.

Honestly I rarely ever see the same black men who complain, promoting any positivity from a black woman. Heck, I tell black men to rise and become millionaires and they get mad at that too.

Perhaps none of it matters and people should just do what gets them paid, while those who have a certain level of consciousness continue to inspire, motivate and teach wealth, and be ignored by the majority of the community.

But maybe I’m getting too deep on a celebrity gossip blog.

I don’t know if I will continue to write these blogs, because my consciousness is just so different.
