Listen, I don’t write these stories for the heck of it. I write these blogs to INFORM you.
I hope that you take from these stories, the seriousness of dealing with ANY man who is not here to serve you as the Queen that you are. Because if you don’t, you may end up with a man who will cause you to mess up your own life.
Gastonia, North Carolina – A woman accused of murdering the man she lived with on Sunday was on the receiving end of gunfire from him last year.
Tearful, and sobbing at times, 31-year-old Valencia Ferrari McLean stood in court, and told Judge Angela Hoyle Monday she would seek representation through the public defender’s office.
The judge declined to issue McLean bond in the case. McLean will remain in custody until at least after prosecutors bring the case before a grand jury later this month.
On Sunday, Valencia was charged with first-degree murder after police were called to her home at 3168 River Trace in Gastonia shortly after 2 p.m. in reference to a domestic-related shooting. Willie Breeden, 33, of the same address, was transported to CaroMont Regional Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the chest and later died.
Sunday’s incident wasn’t the first shooting involving McLean and Breeden. According to court records, Valencia was shot by Willie in an April 2019 incident last year that led to the latter being charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
According to warrants, Willie shot Valencia with an AR-15 shot gun.
WHAT BATTERED WOMEN OFTEN DO…. RETRACT THEIR STATEMENT. IN ORDER TO PROTECT THEIR ABUSER.
Valencia later told the public defender’s office that Willie was cleaning a “shotgun” and attempted to show her how to operate the weapon when it fired and she was struck in the leg.
Valencia said at the time the shooting was an accident and that Willie immediately took her to the hospital, where she said she also told medical staff the shooting was an accident.
Prosecutors dismissed the charge against Breeden in February of this year, according to records.
Here are the self-love mistakes made here:
1. She had a live in BOYFRIEND – That’s a set-up for a man to not value you
2. Taking up for a man who shot you or abused you, let’s him know that you are with the sh*tz. You will get abused again.
3. Getting tired and taking his life. Authorities don’t care if you were are battered woman. They will say that you should’ve left. So many women play the VICTIM role in the name of love, instead of leaving. It’s often scary to leave an abusive man, so figure out a way. The best way to leave is to just let go of the relationship the first time he hits you. The first time won’t be the last.
4. Even if she gets out of jail, she’s now battered, a victim, and most good men will not want to be with her. Women throw away their whole lives, over a man who isn’t even paying any bills. That’s insanity.
5. Toxic relationships are a waste of time. If you can’t figure out how to get along and operate in love, let go.
And THIS is what’s left behind.
The GoFundMe got deleted. Probably once they found out he’d shot her last year.
