According to a report, Nicole Young, the estranged wife of rap mogul Dr. Dre, is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department for embezzlement.
Nicole reportedly withdrew hundreds of thousands of dollars from a business account, TMZ reported. Dr. Dre’s business partner Larry Chatman, filed a complaint.
A total of $385,029 is missing from the account, according to the complaint. While Dr. Dre did not file the criminal complaint, he has reportedly made the missing money a part of his ongoing divorce proceedings with Young. Nicole Young’s attorneys have said that the embezzlement claim is a smear attempt and part of the divorce that has grown especially contentious.
Young has previously said she has received death threats as a result of her and Dr. Dre’s divorce.
When I first got word of this story, I was like “WOW! She sucked his d*ck for 24-years, and now he goes and throws the cops on her. 😮
I just can’t. I refuse to be arguing with a man over some phucking money. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Dre is a billionaire. Toss me $100 Million and I’ll be on my way. I will build a billion dollar empire of my own off that money, plus the money from all of the new men who want me because I was married to an 8 Figure Boss.
She’s definitely due something, but I refuse to become enemies over some freaking money. It’s insane to me how couples come to an end, and can’t even reach a fair financial agreement without a judge.
If she took $385,000, so what. That’s nothing. Go make some more money Dre. Heck, he could throw almost ANY event and make that money back.
Women also have to realize that men are EMOTIONAL about their money. You definitely can’t be trying to take all of it.
The thing about men is once they fall out of love, or they can no longer control you, they are done, and will cut the money train off. Nicole knows that, which is probably why she ran to snatch that money out.
