Denise Woodward started her business due to one special person, her daughter. Denise’s daughter had an unknown food allergy that caused a pretty big scare. With knowing that, she chose to make her daughter’s cookies by hand.
All of her cookies are free-from the top eight food allergens: cow’s milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, soybeans, and wheat. Her cookie company is named “Partake”.
Her cookies are so good they caught the attention of A-List celebrities Jay-Z and Rihanna. They invested money along with other well-known stars. They were able to raise $4.8 Million dollars.
The cookies can be found at Target, Whole Foods, Wehman’s, Fresh Market locations.
