Linktree started in 2016, developed by Alex Zaccaria, Anthony Zaccaria (brothers), and Nick Humphreys (friend). The reason for the brilliant idea being born was because of having to constantly change the bio links in his clients’ bio. With Linktree, all you need is ONE link to take a person to all of your social sites, YouTube, Facebook, Podcasts, and more!
A couple years after Linktree took off, Instagram BANNED it. I could only imagine how they felt!! All that blood, sweat and tears for their creation to go against a platform’s policy.
Instagram finally decided to allow Linktree to network. They issued an apology and let them expand their brand. Although, some speculators are still not sure if this decision will stand or will they be banned once again. Only time will tell.
Naomi Campbell, Alicia Keys, Pharrell Williams, Gary Vee all have signed up. Even Coachella used Linktree as like a digital brochure for events.
Huge brands like Expedia and Redbull even see the beauty in the idea and quickly came on board.
Now days expanding linking and networking is how the world goes round. Everyone wants to build up followings and clients. What better way to expand than Linktree.
In October of 2020, Linktree received $10.7 Million from an institutional investor.
Seems like they just started and their numbers are going INSANE!!!
Congratulations guys on this dream come true!
