Courtney Taylor’s Attorney Claims She Is A Victim of Human Trafficking & Abuse At The Hands of Toby

Courtney’s Attorney Claims Self-Defense

While social media and Toby’s friends say that Courtney was the aggressor and abused her now deceased Nigerian-American boyfriend, According to TMZ, Courtney’s lawyer Frank Prieto claims the public has the story wrong.

“It is unfortunate that a member of the public, knowing absolutely nothing about circumstances and events surrounding the death Mr. Obumseli, would take the opportunity to harass the Clenney family during a time that they are trying to be supportive for Courtney,” Frank told TMZ. 

That’s not all.  Attorney Prieto alleges Christian is responsible for “physical, emotional, and mental abuse” against Courtney. Frank even suggested Courtney might be a “victim of human trafficking.”

That would insinuate that Toby was actually her pimp….

Which leads into Courtney appearing to run with the story that Christian was an intruder who gained access to her apartment without permission multiple times before he was fatally stabbed last Sunday. But, Christian’s friends have told outlets such as CBS4 Miami that Courtney and Christian shared the apartment at One Paraiso.

That would also mean that Courtney freely dated other men while she was with Toby.

Courtney’s attorney said: “Courtney acted in self-defense; the investigation by both the City of Miami Police Department and the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office will conclude such. With that said, we would ask for the public’s understanding about observing the family’s privacy at this time.”

As one of the first media outlets to post on this story, what I find fascinating is that the black women on the Krime with Kissy page say this is not their fight.  They have no interest in justice in this case.

It doesn’t look like this case is going to trial.  In all honesty, Toby didn’t look like his pimp hand was strong.
