He brutally beat, raped, tortured and threatened his victims to work as prostitutes for him in Brooklyn and Queens, the feds said.
“Sex trafficking is a modern form of slavery that uses violence and fear to force vulnerable individuals to work for someone else’s profit, in this case resulting in the alleged brutal murder of one of the victims,” US Attorney Breon Peace said in a statement.
“This Office will continue to prioritize investigation and prosecution of these heinous crimes. I thank the victims for their bravery in coming forward to report the defendant’s crimes and hope that this prosecution will help bring them and Ms. Foster’s family closure.”
When one victim refused to prostitute herself, Moses used a taser on her until she complied, authorities said. Another time, he slashed a victim’s back and arms with a razor and beat her with a belt before he poured lemon juice on her wounds, leaving her with permanent wounds.
And when another victim refused to work, he’s accused of putting a shotgun in her mouth and threatening to kill her and her kid.
He is said to have used a rip saw to cut up Foster’s body, later texting a friend who worked for a private trash hauler.
‘I have a favor to ask,’ he allegedly wrote. ‘I want to get rid of some garbage.’
Moses allegedly threatened the man after they met up and the pimp discarded the bags in the trash truck.
‘You better help me or you’re going to end up like her,’ the pimp is said to have declared.
The man is among 30 witnesses being called for the trial as he is now cooperating in the case against Moses.
If found guilty, the US Attorney’s Office said Moses could face life in prison and could be eligible for the death penalty.
Eleven years ago, Moses was convicted of enticing a 16-year-old into prostitution, according to media reports.
Still, Moses’ attorney said the case is not as easy for prosecutors as they think.
“My client has a constitutional right to be presumed innocent,” defense attorney Amy Rameau said, according to Brooklyn 12 News. “There’s a lot more to it, and you’ll see that unfold in the courtroom, where it’s appropriate.”
I am shocked that WOMEN are actually defending him. No amount of money should be worth defending a murderous pimp.
Any woman with a pimp, should save up money and call the police on him. He’s only holding you hostage away from your destiny.
