R. Kelly Engaged to Joycelyn Savage – The Woman Whose Career He Never Built

R Kelly continues to have a hold on Jocelyn Savage.

More details into R. Kelly‘s life have surfaced in the wake of his sex trafficking trial.

In a letter to a judge dated on June 13 and recently obtained by E! News, aspiring singer Jocelyn Savage shared that she and the R&B singer are engaged and asked the court to hand down a more lenient prison sentence in his case. The letter was filed by Kelly’s legal team ahead of his sentencing.

“My name is Joycelyn Savage, and I’m Robert Kelly’s fiancé,” she began in letter. “I’m writing this letter in support of Robert in advance of his sentencing, so I can explain to the court that I’m not the victim that the government has portrayed me to be.”

Savage went on to describe her relationship with Kelly as “amazing” and called the star—who was found guilty of all nine charges he faced, including racketeering, bribery, coercion, enticement and sex trafficking—the “best thing that’s ever happened to me.”

The letter continued:

“We have a very special connection and are deeply in love,” she penned in the letter. “Robert is not the monster that the government has described him to be. The Robert I know is very sweet, gentle, and kind.”

Savage continued of Kelly,55, “He’s very determined and focused on his goals, and the things that have been said about him, with me and other women being held against our will is absolutely untrue.”

The 26-year-old also wrote that “it breaks my heart that the government has created a narrative that I’m a victim.”

“I’m a grown woman, and can speak for myself which is why I wanted to provide this letter to the court,” she added. “[Kelly] is a great man, with a great heart and deserves to be home with his loved ones who are ready to support him.”

This letter and Jocelyn’s mindset possibly made things worse for Kelly.

On June 29, two weeks after Savage penned the letter, Kelly was ultimately sentenced to 30 years in prison In addition, he received five years of supervised release and a $100,000 fine as part of his sentencing.

Back in 2019, Savage appeared on CBS This Morning alongside Azriel Clary, another one of Kelly’s live-in girlfriends, to deny allegations that they were being held against their will. “This is all f–king lies for money and if you can’t see that, you’re ignorant and you’re stupid as f–k because you want to be all—because that’s the world we live in,” Clary said during the interview. “Negativity sells, gossip is what sells, rumors are what sell.”

Savage added, “Exactly.”

Savage previously,  claimed that Kelly was not abusing her, then went to claiming that he was.

In a series of Instagram posts and a longer post on Patreon, she revealed allegations of Kelly’s “controlling and abusive” behavior. She says he forced her to call him “Master” or “Daddy.” And, when she didn’t, “He grabbed me and choked me until I blacked out,” she said.

Savage also claimed that he got her pregnant twice but got abortions both times.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, she said of the situation, “I realized I was pregnant by this monster…Eventually, [when] I ended up getting an abortion, I was forced to get the surgery done at his house.”

Jocelyn’s mindset is understandable. Good d*ck is very potent. It makes you feel connected to the man despite whatever trauma and pain he has caused you. The greater parts of you want so badly to have a beautiful relationship with him.

In addition, we can safely assume that Kelly’s legal team suggested that she write the letter.

At this point, I wonder if any man would be willing to treat Jocelyn Savage like a Queen after this.

Also even if Jocelyn believes she is no victim, what about the other girls? Did she consider them when she talked about how KIND Kelly is?

Kelly is so kind, yet she is all dressed up, still has no singing career or any successful business after being with him for 5-years.

Meanwhile Kimora Lee Simmons was created by Russell Simmons. When a successful man loves you he ensures that your business is successful like Diddy who only deals with ADULT WOMEN is now doing for Young Miami of the City Girls. He even made sure that people watch her podcast.

So at the end of the day, if a successful man isn’t making sure your BUSINESS is successful, he really doesn’t care about you, no matter what state of delusions you want to fall into.

Kelly didn’t even get Jocelyn’s teeth fixed. He gave her the bare minimum.

Ladies, R. Kelly and his case aside… When a man LOVES you, he goes hard for you.
