YouTube vlogger Tasha K also known as the Wendy Williams of the internet has lost her appeal against Cardi B‘s $4 million defamation lawsuit according to Rolling Out Magazine.
In June, Tasha’s attorneys filed an appeal in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, arguing that Judge William Ray had “erroneously” ignored evidence about Cardi B, resulting in the New Yorker’s legal victory in January, according to Billboard.
The court sided with the famous superstar Cardi B, dismissing Tasha’s case without jurisdiction and permitting the “Rumors” artist to have her lawyers and the sheriff’s office authorize the garnishment of Tasha’s wages and personal assets to fulfill the judgment.
Tasha, whose real name is Latasha Kebe, allegedly placed her home up for rent and moved into an apartment.
That wasn’t all. Australian rapper Iggy Azalea came for Tasha on Twitter, telling the Youtube superstar to keep her son’s name out of her mouth.
Azalea issued a warning shot: “Tasha watch your mouth & definitely keep my sons name out of it. I certainly do have that good lawyer money, don’t get sued AGAIN, you have rent to pay baby,” the rapper wrote on Twitter, according to Hot New Hip Hop.
Despite fans currently being upset with Tasha K, they are still going to watch her show. Society often gets upset with the Tasha K’s, The Wendy Williams’ and the Kevin Samuels’ of the world, but they are only giving the culture what it wants.
Before I quit blogging years ago, I went on Youtube and although I could’ve been a huge superstar ripping celebrities to shreds, I decided I wanted to help people instead and went the other way.
That has been quite the journey. It’s easier to find fame online by being negative than it is being positive. And although people will complain about the negativity, they still tune in to watch.
