Masika Kalysha Files $6 Million Lawsuit Against Hazel E & Zeus Network For Staged Fight Footage

“Love & Hip Hop” star Masika Kalysha is taking Hazel-E and Zeus Network to court … claiming she was ambushed after the promise of a peaceful sit-down didn’t go according to plan, in addition to the network airing the footage against her objections.

According to legal docs,  the incident went down in August 2020 when Masika agreed to sit down with Hazel-E to hash out rumors Hazel allegedly spread about her.

Tensions were high before, during and after their chat, as the video shows — Masika claims Hazel and a cosmetologist came into her dressing room and attacked her … resulting in scratches, bruises, and a broken finger.

The incident was caught on camera, but Masika’s attorney demanded Zeus not air or edit any footage of the assault — but the footage came out anyway.

Masika says Zeus’ security broke up the fight, but alleges one guard groped her groin and butt in the process, and remarked … “She’s thick as ****.”

Masika is suing for sexual battery, fraud and wants $6 million in damages. She also wants all the footage of the fight to be taken down.

Personally I don’t watch reality t.v. Especially not the kind where black women are seen constantly fighting and dogging each other. The narrative simply doesn’t sit well with me.

As to Hazel E, I was impressed with how calm and conscious she was in the conversation. With her composed demeanor, it would seem the conversation would go smoother than it did.

One thing that did bother me was Hazel E’s dress. Postpartum or not there was a better fitting dress that she could’ve worn. It’s disappointing to see that nobody told her. However both women looked beautiful.
