When Future came to this earth, the man for sure had plans of doing whatever he damn well pleases.
As if getting every woman he wants pregnant, rising to the top of rap charts with pure dominance for years, dissing Ciara after getting her pregnant, and dating the highly sought after Lori Harvey, the ‘Mask Off’ “Chase a check. Never chase a b*tch,” rapper, has held true to his words. Future has pulled off another unexpected win, in the form a cashing a major check.
The Shade Room Reports: Life is good! Future is always making a money play, and it looks like he just did it again. According to Variety, Future has sold his Grammy award-winning publishing catalog from 2004 to 2020. The new owners, Influence Media Partners, reportedly cut Future an eight-figure check.
The exact amount of money he received has not been made public but, the purchase included 612 of Future’s records like popular tracks such as ‘Jumpman,’ ‘Mask Off,’ and ‘Life Is Good.’
Rene McLean, Influence Media partner, and founding advisor spoke out on the purchase, saying,
“Future is a cultural icon. He continues to be a blueprint for impact and success in the music industry and has reinvented music in ways that no one has ever expected.” She added, “It is rare to find someone who moves music and culture at the same speed with his distinct vocal and melodic style. His prolific career and continued popularity more than 15 years into the game is a testament to his undeniable influence on the contemporary music and culture landscape. We’re honored to be partnered with him.”
The rapper also shared some words about the deal.
“I put everything into my music, and I wanted to make sure these were in good hands as I thought about the next chapter of these songs. I’m proud to partner up with Rene and the team at Influence Media and send a signal that this music has timeless value. My music is my art, and these songs represent some of the most precious artwork of my career.”
Future has released eight studio albums, four collaborative albums, one reissued album, one soundtrack, 16 mixtapes, four commercial mixtapes, and 114 singles. He has 69 as a featured artist, and six of Future’s eight studio albums have reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 200.
Put his personal life aside, as an artist, I am very proud of Future. He does make fantastic music. Who knows he may get a new chick pregnant to celebrate. This news puts him moving up the line with rap elites like Kanye West & Jay Z who both diversified Billionaires. (True Billionaire is actually 10 Figures)
Now that we’ve put some respect on his name, let’s get to these funny truths.
When men get money they become more attractive. Future just became a whole lot sexier to women. I can just see all of his baby mother’s right now celebrating that their baby daddy is a Billionaire. Meanwhile women are out here working hard to be in corporate America to make 6 Figures and told that they are not good enough for a High Value Man…..
Life doesn’t work the way people think it does. It works by you deciding what you want and allowing it to come to you. Even if it seems impossible.
As to why Russell’s name is in the title? Do I look like I write blogs just to be ignored? Ya’ll messy and I am breaking through the FB algorithm right now. We do wonder however, how Ciara feels about this news…
