Nia Long Speaks Out – Ime Udoka Moved Nia & Their Son to Boston 2 Weeks Ago Knowing His Affair Would Go Public

Actress Nia Long has gathered the biggest amount of unsolicited support in a cheating scandal that I’ve ever seen in the history of the internet.

People actually care about Nia’s happiness and were devastated to find out her long-time fiancé cheated on her.

The “Love Jones” actress however is keeping it cool. Through her publicist the actress thanked everyone for their ‘love and support’ after getting blindsided by Celtics Coach Ime Udoka’s affair this week.

According to inside sources, Ime has known his affair would be made public since July after the team found out and launched an investigation — but he didn’t tell Nia until a few days ago.

Obviously there is no way anyone could’ve known the story would blow up as big as it is.  After all, men cheat every day.

However Nia is a beloved legend.

Nia and their 10-year-old Kez just moved to Boston TWO weeks ago and the couple was in the process of searching for a home to purchase.

In a statement issued through her rep Shannon Barr, Nia says:

“The outpouring of love and support from family, friends and the community during this difficult time means so much to me. I ask that my privacy be respected as I process the recent events. Above all, I am a mother and will continue to focus on my children.”

I am so glad to see everyone supporting Nia during this time. The outpouring of love has to feel beautiful, despite the hurt.
