Who needs enemies when you have family like this
Texas man murdered female “friend” cause she beat him in basketball game
One thing that a lot of men hate, is being beat by a woman in a game. While most times they only show anger, some men move into rage and do something unspeakable.
DALLAS, TEXAS — A man IS accused of killing a woman who beat him in a pickup game of basketball earlier this month.
On Thursday, Cameron Hogg, 31, was charged with the murder of 21-year-old Asia Womack, who died after being shot several times on Oct. 4, according to WSBTV.
Police issued a warrant for the arrest of Hogg days after police found Ashia lying on the sidewalk suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
According to KDFW, her family said Womack was playing basketball in the park against Hogg. After losing the game, he reportedly took his kids and brother home and returned to shoot Womack at least five times. She later died at a hospital.
The victim’s family told People that Hogg was a friend and played on her James Madison High School basketball team. Her family said that Hogg was upset after losing the game and shot her out of anger.
“This was supposed to be a friend of Asia’s. She’s eaten with the man. She’s fed him, and he turned on her and killed her in a vicious way,” Asia’s mother, Andrea Womack, told KDFW.
I am slowly learning that oftentimes men are not actually a woman’s “friend.”
In this case, even though Asia obviously lived her life as a butch, and saw herself as more masculine than feminine, Hogg still saw her as a woman at the end of the day.
This speaks volumes…
Just because a man is a male, doesn’t mean he’s emotionally strong. Hogg was weak in more than one way.
While you can do whatever you want, including walking down an alley, butt naked in the middle of the nigh, a woman must handle men carefully. Whether that’s playing him in a game or turning him down when he wants your number.
You never know when something like this will happen, but for wisdom’s sake sometimes life isn’t about your right, but more about your awareness and skills to live another day.
