Antman Actor Jonathan Majors arrested for allegedly assaulting woman in Manhattan, Rep Says “He’s Done Nothing Wrong”

When you have all of the money and fame that you want, it would seem a person would want peace. However, it appears that Creed actor Jonathan Majors who also was the villain in the movie Antman, is not at peace in his soul. .

On Saturday,  Majors was arrested in New York after 911 dispatched police to an apartment in the Chelsea neighborhood.

ABC14 tells the story:

CHELSEA, Manhattan  — ‘Creed III’ actor Jonathan Majors was arrested in Manhattan for allegedly assaulting a woman, according to police.

Police say that Majors, 33, was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old woman at an apartment on West 22nd Street and 8th Avenue in Chelsea.

The woman told police she was assaulted and Majors was taken into custody.

The woman sustained minor injuries to her head and neck. She was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Majors was arrested on the charges of strangulation, assault, and harassment.

A rep for Majors tells TMZ, “He’s done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up.”

This is one of those stories, where you are wondering if this is real.

4:44 PM PT — Here’s what allegedly happened in the lead-up to this. Per our law enforcement sources, police were told that the alleged victim is Majors’ girlfriend — and, according to her, they got into an argument while in a taxi returning home from a bar in Brooklyn.

Our sources say police were told the girlfriend saw another woman texting Majors, and she confronted him — trying to sneak a peek at his phone. We’re told the alleged victim/GF claims this got Majors mad, and that he allegedly grabbed her hand and allegedly slapped her.

We’re also told the alleged victim claims he put his hands around her neck during this. Our sources say the woman was dropped off somewhere and that JM spent the night elsewhere. It appears the girlfriend went to police the following morning (Sat.) and reported a crime.
