On Thursday morning, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office pulled up to Sean Kingston‘s Florida home like what’s happening!
Authorities in South Florida raided the Jamaican singer’s luxurious home inside the Southwest Ranches, with multiple police cruisers parked around the gated community and directly outside of Kingston’s home.
WSVN news helicopters flew overhead capturing it all.
Kingston — whose real name is Kisean Paul Anderson — is accused of not paying for a $150,000 entertainment system.
The NY Post reports:
“The allegation stems from a lawsuit filed against the “Beautiful Girls” singer in February by Ver Entertainment LLC, WSVN reported.
Dennis Card, an attorney for the company, was outside Kingston’s home while the raid took place.
“He said that he works with Justin Bieber and that he, obviously, puts on a big show here, this is a rental house, he doesn’t own it,” Card told WSVN.
“And he lures people using his celebrity into having them release things without having him pay for it and then he simply never pays,” the lawyer claimed.
“He has a standardized script that he gives people, which is that he’s a recording artist, that he certainly is, and that he wants to purchase these things, but he never pays for anything. He gets the stuff and that’s the end of the story. He does it over and over and over.”
Sean’s 61-year-old mother, Janice Turner, was arrested on the scene for fraud and theft charges.
