MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. (KRCG) — The rapper known as Nelly was arrested in the St. Louis area early Wednesday morning, according to police records.
Nelly, 49, whose birth name is Cornell Haynes II, was arrested in possession of four ecstasy pills and for not having insurance.
According to online arrest records, Haynes was arrested at 4:45 am, at the Hollywood Casino, taken to the Maryland Heights Police Department, and later released.
Maryland Heights Police confirmed Cornell Haynes II had an outstanding traffic summons.
