California man out on bail for domestic violence kills 3 kids, himself

CLEARLAKE, Calif. — (KRON/AP) — Police say a man who was arrested twice this year on domestic violence charges shot and killed three of his children then turned the gun on himself.

Clearlake Police said the man’s wife placed a 911 call early Sunday. Responding officers found 39-year-old Ricardo Garcia Lopez dead in his driveway from apparent self-inflicted gunshot wounds.

Officers found the couple’s four children inside an SUV. Three children, ages 9 months to 4 years old, were dead. A 5-year-old had a gunshot wound to the chest but survived.

Lake County Sheriff’s records show Lopez was arrested in March and May on domestic violence charges and released on bail.

From experience I’ve learned that abusive men actually aren’t afraid of the cops. Many will hit a woman time and time again, until he’s sentenced to prison. Not only is he wasting his own life by not taking self-accountabity for his behavior, but the woman is also wasting her life allowing a man to beat her down and steal her self-esteem. Meanwhile another woman is being treated like a Queen.
