Costly Decisions
Florida Woman Dies After Crashing Into Semi-Truck Hauling Wooden Logs
For some life is a battle of fear and for others life is the joy of having rosy red glasses and thinking positive.
Doing either all of the time is not good. It’s good to think positive and also allow fear to lead you in the right direction, especially around trucks.
One Florida woman probably hadn’t seen Final Destination, nor fear being behind huge trucks, and wound up losing her life.
A tragic incident occurred in Yulee, Florida, where a 25-year-old woman lost her life after logs fell onto her car following a collision with a log truck.
According to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, the unfortunate incident took place around 12:45 a.m. on Tuesday when an SUV was traveling east on state road 200.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the woman was driving in the outside lane, trailing behind a semi-truck that was carrying logs. However, she failed to maintain a safe distance between her vehicle and the truck. As a result, her SUV collided with the log truck, causing the logs to topple and crash onto her car.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and transported the 25-year-old to a nearby hospital. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the medical facility.
Authorities have revealed that the victim hailed from Fernandina Beach.
The lesson here: Fear of driving behind big trucks, especially one with heavy loads or logs is wife. Take the FEAR as a reminder to go around the truck.
R.I.P. to this unamed woman.
