Man accused of raping 14-year-old girl and permitting 11-year-old boy to rape her too, gets sentence dismissed by judge

This is unbelievable.

After accepting a plea deal from prosecutors, a Montana man who was charged with 64 individual counts, including rape and sexual abuse of children, may never spend any time behind bars after receiving a 1-year deferred prison sentence.

According to reports, the lucky William Edward Miller Jr., received the “look ma no hands” sentence from Judge Elizabeth Best.

Miller will be on unsupervised probation for the next year. If, after the year, the 51-year-old has committed no other crimes, the entire matter will be expunged from his record.

Lawd! How hard is it not to commit a crime for one year??? Especially when your probation isn’t supervised.

The Great Falls Tribune reports Miller pleaded guilty to one count of sexual abuse of children — after detectives found illicit photographs and disturbing web searches on his cell phone and laptop.

He also pleaded guilty to unsworn falsification to authorities, for which he received a six-month sentence. Local reports indicate, though, that Miller received credit for 384 days of time already served.

The other 63 charges against him were dismissed, reports KULR.

He was also ordered to complete sex offender treatment.

Miller was arrested in February of 2019 for rape, according to KFBB, and was making phone calls from jail asking people to get someone to destroy his phone. Detective Price later received an anonymous call stating that the woman was trying to get a ride to Miller’s house in Neihart to take his phone and possibly his computer.

The woman originally denied asking for rides to Miller’s house to destroy any items that could get people in trouble. The woman said she only wanted to go to Miller’s home to get her clothes and personal items, claiming she was worried about police going to Miller’s home and taking her stuff, insisting that Miller did not ask her to dispose of anything.

The woman also did not want police taking Miller’s phone and laptop because they had recorded sex acts between them and she didn’t want someone to see.

The woman said in an interview with detectives that she did not believe that there was any child pornography on any of the devices, and that anything that could be found involved teenagers her age.”

Miller, 51, was arrested in February 2019 after a 14-year-old high school student accused him of raping her at her home a year prior. She alleged that Miller allowed an 11-year-old boy to rape her while he watched in a separate encounter.

In August of 2019, state authorities filed 64 counts of sexual abuse of children, alleging that Miller possessed images of child pornography and bestiality on his phone and laptop.

According to the Great Falls Tribune, Miller could also petition to be removed from the sex offender registry if he successfully completes his probation.

In court, Miller said the entire case destroyed the lives of him and his wife.

“We’re suffering,” the paper quotes him as saying. “I’ve served time in jail for stuff that I didn’t even do.”

Miller said he wants to be a good person but has had “really bad luck,” the paper reports.

WAIT. THERE’S MORE, from Great Falls Tribune.

The one count of sexual abuse of children that Miller was sentenced for stemmed from a single photo of a 17-year-old who is now 19 and has been married to Miller for three months.

Shiloh Young testified at the hearing that she took the photo of herself to help with body image issues and never meant for anyone else to see it.

“William is a kind, compassionate, empathetic man. Never has he manipulated or controlled me,” she said, later telling Best, “I ask that we be free of this charge. I feel that we have suffered enough, and I am not a victim of my husband.”

The two are raising a kid together.

KISSY’S THOUGHTS

This is insane. This is ridiculous. Do you know how many black people are in jail for petty crimes that didn’t even hurt anyone? Do you know how many black men have died at the hands of police?
