According to the police report, in order to fly under the radar and continue the illicit relationships, Keith planned to tell people that she was his niece and that he gained custody after her mother had passed away.

The messages had been deleted before deputies could view them, but the mother told them she had seen the messages and described them, according to the Orlando Sentinel. The Sentinel said deputies used a photograph posted inside the girl’s Instagram account to identify him.

“I have no idea why someone would travel from Texas to Florida for an 11-year-old child, but no we don’t know who he is,” Vega said.

Greene is being held at the Santa Rosa County Jail without bond. He is awaiting extradition to Orange County, an OCSO spokesperson said. He is scheduled for court on October 13.

When he’s extradited back to Orange County, Keith Green faces charges of kidnapping a child under the age of 13, interference with custody, and luring or enticing a child.

The girl has been safely returned to her family, according to WEAR.

Mom needs to keep an eye on that kid….. She has very bad taste in men. Most grown women wouldn’t even want Keith.

And I swear that pedophilia desire must be something else to cross state lines to get a young tender knowing the police are going to be looking for her for years. The rationale of it all. I guess getting a fresh 18-year-old girl is even too much work these days, cause even they know what a real man is.

I’m sure lots of men have gotten away with kidnapping their young fantasy. But it just doesn’t seem worth it.

We often scream at police for what they do wrong, but they did such a great job in this case. The detectives and officers should be commended, cause this could’ve went a whole other way.
